What size are the images we upload scaled to?

The server shrinks the size to 1000 pixels wide or tall (it shrinks the biggest side to 1000 pixels and keeps the aspect ratio). We are using the web server's resizing capability which is not as good as image editing software. If you resize your image to 1000 pixels and then upload it, it wont be resized by the server. It will be resized by the flash player to fit the screen however. Flash seems to do a pretty good job resizing though.
