If your pc has Comodo Internet Security virus scanner installed, you will need disable the Defense+ feature entirely. Our system downloads updates to various program files automatically as they change, and the Defense+ feature looks at each specific file by date to grant it access to files on the hard drive. Although you can grant the appropriate trust level initially, when the file is automatically updated, the new ones were not trusted and it stops the functionality of the system updater. So, by turning the defense+ off, everything works as expected. You can keep the firewall at safe mode and antivirus as Stateful.
