When the http://www.pc-2-tv.net" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; devices are setup using Mac layer (the default is IP layer), you can have up to 4 transmitters on the same network switch and each receiver has a source button where you can select which transmitter to display. To do that, you need a high end network switch with IGMP snooping to be able to do that, and with the high bandwidth (20MB/sec) that these transmitters put out, most of our customers set up a vlan for each transmitter / receiver group just to avoid problems.

The basic system has one transmitter and can have hundreds of receivers (screens) attached to it. You use standard 10/100 (or gig) network switches and normal networking rules. Therefore you can have a 24 port switch where each port links to another 24 port switch to give you lots of ports to connect into.

You can find a diagram of the pc-2-tv.net system in the middle of http://sched.mikestrand.com/php/kiosks/ ... tails.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
